William Bishop is one of the NPCs in Vampyr. He was a sailor and worked at the canning factory, but then he lost his job. He was a friend of Tom until he developed aggressive behaviour and Tom had to throw him out. Sabrina also states that William was usually very nice. William usually slept in his boat by the north pier when he was too drunk.
Jonathan can find out more about William when he interrogates Tom and Sabrina in the Turquoise Turtle Pub:
- Sabrina fears he might be contagious and was shocked by his appearance.
- Tom mentions he is tall, sick with a bad rash and used to be strong.
After the dialogue in the bar, Jonathan should visit the pier and look for the boat:
- Jonathan can find traces of blood and follow them to the pier, where he also finds a warm body.
- Bishop obviously drank a lot, especially Gin.
The scent of blood leads Jonathan to William's den at the Docks:
- William meanwhile has turned into one of the Skals and his blood lust has overwhelmed him. He lost all human traits.
- Jonathan finds the wounded Sean Hampton in William's den at the Docks.
- Jonathan also meets the, then still described as unknown, Lady Ashbury, who saves him from William's last attack. She doesn't waste much time for a talk but recognises Jonathan as a newborn Vampire (Ekon, to be precise). Jonathan had heard her voice for the first time in the Turquoise Turtle Pub when he was eavesdropping a talk through Dr. Edgar Swansea's door.
- Sean will defend William as "not the evil man everybody claimed" and that he just was overwhelmed by the thirst.
BOSS[]
- As a BOSS, William Bishop can regenerate HP slowly (due to he was also some kind of vampire), so unless you deal with aggravated damage or your damage speed is over his recover speed, he can't be defeated. He can also perform charge attack with a shout and jump on you. If you we bite by him, he will drink your blood and heal himself including aggravated damage.
- But don't think this was a hard battle, his health regenerate speed is quite slow, and if you take you attack time, you can just break his charge attack and hit him back.
- The easier way to defeat him, is just hit him with Used Hatchet twice and then with Used Stake, to make him in stun status, do not bite, but wait your stamina recover, repeat this again before his stun status over.
- By defeat him, you will get Used Bludgeon and EXP +360
