A Cherished Souvenir is an Investigation quest in the Whitechapel district in Vampyr.
Description[]
- Clayton Darby knows Cristina Popa has lost the scarf her brother gave to her before she fled Romania and came to England. He is convinced the young woman would think better of him if he could find the cherished souvineir and give it back to her.
Quest[]
- Find the scarf lost by Cristina Popa.
- Go to the marker on the map in the WHITECHAPEL OLD ROAD sector. There will be a Lvl 16 Large Beast enemy near the gate, but moving carefully and hitting the interact button in time can get inside before combat starts. However, the Beast will notice Reid upon exiting, so be aware.
- The courtyard where the marker lies contains three leveled Skals. Once they are dead, find the scarf on the dead human body.
- Choose what to do with the lost scarf
- Give it to Cristina Popa. The reward is 50 shillings but Cristina Popa's Hint #3 and Clayton Darby's Hint #3 will be marked Failed.
- Give it to Clayton Darby. The reward is 50 shillings and unlocking the above Hints.
Bugs[]
Important: if the Investigation is started and for whatever reason an exit to the Main Menu happens, or you are killed, before getting the Wool Scarf, then there will be no option to give the scarf to Clayton Darby when talking with him again. Once the Wool Scarf is acquired, it is important to immeidately take it to him if he is the chosen recipient.
